Established in Athens since 2008, Diazoma is a movement of people sharing the same passion for the Greek cultural heritage and whose mission is to help protect, restore and promote monuments, especially ancient theaters. Its aim is to breathe new life into these masterpieces of antiquity - built to serve as hosts to other masterpieces - so that they become the high places of cultural and intellectual enlightment they once were. We invite citizens around the world to take part in our efforts to preserve and revive these theaters, which have witnessed the birth of drama as well as that of democratic ideals.
