in situ-pockets of space
site specific events

This creation, presented as an installation, is the result of a project by Marc Downie, Paul Kaiser, and Natasha Barrett. Familiar with exhibition spaces like the MOMA or the Barclay Center in London, OpenEndedGroup had never explored the 3D space in a sonic field. In this project they collaborated on spatialized composition with Natasha Barrett, an internationally acclaimed composer. On the Centre Pompidou’s stage, covered by a dome of loudspeakers (Ambisonics), the public was invited to experience large-scale "pockets of space" in parallel with the exhibion "Coder le Monde".
